She has been a nurse for over 14 years and has an extensive background in interventional radiology and cardiology. She attended Chamberlain University for her Bachelors of Science in Nursing then continued to achieve her Masters of Science in Nursing where she graduated with honors. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Marissa describes herself as a lifelong learner, and in her free time enjoys reading and traveling.

This is the best dr I've been to in my 50 years of life. This doctor took his time and was extremely thorough. He is very knowledgeable and it was a great experience going to the dr when I came here for my 1st visit looking for a primary care provider. I am so happy that I have indeed found my new primary care provider! The staff are friendly and helpful. I would give 10 stars if I could. If you are in Fort Lauderdale area and searching for a new fast yet thorough and efficient doctor with no wait time and comfortable office this is the place! My girlfriend was impressed too and has now switched her primary care dr to this doctor here at vanguard!
